Plant your peanut seeds 1 - 1 1/2 inches deep and about 6" to 8" inches apart, in rows 24" - 36" inches apart. Peanuts need some elbow room. The plants will flower and then send their pegs down into the soil where the peanuts will form. Cultivate the soil around the plants until they begin to flower, then stop cultivating or you'll disturb the process. Peanuts take about 120 days to mature.
