The Q&A Archives: patches of dead grass

Question: Hi;
In my lawn big patches of dead grass, what you want me to do

Lenin Chada

Answer: Start by raking out all the dead grass and debris, then reseeding the bare areas and covering over the seeds with compost or peat moss. A thin layer will help keep the seeds moist until they sprout. It should only take a couple of weeks before the bare areas have healthy new grass in them. Best wishes with your lawn!
