Last Year I put Pete moss in my tomato garden when I tilled it up in the spring. My garden flopped. My tomato plants barely grew 2 feet with very few tomatoes. Was it the Pete Moss that caused the terrible results? |
Peat moss can be acidic so depending upon whether or not your soil is already acidic, it might have made a difference. But, peat is an organic product and should help improve the texture of your soil. Therefore, digging it in was a good idea. This year add compost or aged manure to your garden to help neutralize the peat. You should have good results. Best wishes with your garden! |
