The Q&A Archives: Indian Hawthorn

Question: The Indian Hawthorn's I just planted have got leaf spot. What should I do to treat my shrubs? Thanks...Leah

Answer: You can spray your hawthorn with Soap Sheild, an organic fungicidal soap/copper spray and follow the spray schedule recommened on the label to keep tree from being reinfected. Keep the leaves raked and an organic mulch on the soil (bark, compost, etc.) to combat any spores that remain on the soil surface. Hope this does the trick!
