The Q&A Archives: how to prune carpet roses

Question: After winter, how and when do I prune carpet roses?

Answer: It isn't necessary to prune carpet roses but if you decide to prune them you can cut them down to about 10" above ground level in the winter and they'll be ready to grow in the spring. If they have already begun to grow, you can still prune them back. Enjoy!
