Answer: Holes in the leaves can be caused by insect feeding or by a disease called shot hole. Without knowing which it is, I can't offer a solution. If you see no insects currently on the leaves, the pests have feasted and left the area. If you do find insects, capture a few in a plastic baggie and have them identified by nursery personnel or at your local cooperative extension office.
