Your weeping cherry tree will need one deep watering per week to help the roots establish and to support growth all summer long. I just build a watering basin beneath my trees by mounding up several inches of soil in a circle around the tree, about 12 inches from the trunk. Fill the basin with water, allow it to drain, then fill it a second time. Watering in this way concentrates the moisture directly over the root system and allows it to trickle down, wetting the entire root mass. Do this once each week and your new tree should grow and thrive. Enjoy your new tree.
