I have numerous fruit trees in my back yard, apples, pears, cherry and I think a peach (could be an apricot-not sure) Anyway, I never eat the fruit because there usually is some disease or bugs on them and the good looking fruit is too high for me to reach. Suggestions???

Each of the fruit trees you mention have different spray schedules and products for diseases and insects. And, each has a unique requirement for pruning for best production. I can't address all of your concerns in this forum but can suggest you contact your local cooperative extension office for publications dealing with your fruit trees.
