when can i plant how much soil do i cover the can plant. do i just put in ground i live in salem oregon.

Sow your zinnia seeds outdoors now. Simply lay them on the soil and barely cover them with about one quarter inch of topsoil. Give each plant 8-10 inches of room to grow. You can sow the seeds closer than that, but you will want to dig and transplant them as they grow larger and begin to crowd each other. Enjoy your zinnias!
