Could you please tell me when you should plant creeping thyme seeds in zone 7? Also, do you sell creeping thyme seeds?

Yes, Burpee carries both creeping and common thyme.

It is best to start seeds indoors in February or March. Like may perennial herbs, thyme takes a while to grow into a transplant of sufficient size to set out in the garden.

If you still want to get in a planting this year, go ahead and order seeds and start them in a good seed starter mix in a transplant tray. Select a bright, outdoor location out of direct sun, and water just enough to keep evenly moist. When seedlings get their first true leaves, move to a sunny location and keep well watered but not soggy. Transplant to the garden when plants are 2" or more in size.
