The Q&A Archives: pale hydrangea.

Question: my hydrangea flowers has no color. i know acidic soil makes blue and alkaline soil makes red. but it did not work. its not a white flower hydrangea .

Answer: Why not wait until the flower fully opens? Sometimes both pink and blue hydrangea flowers start out a greenish white and then develop their full colors. I'd wait to see how it matures. Aside from soil fertility and pH, there's not much that would change the color of a hydrangea.
