The Q&A Archives: Planting Perennials

Question: How long ater I have sprayed round up in my garden, can I plant perennials?

Answer: Round Up is a non-selective vegetation killer so anything it makes contact with will die. I hope you did not spray any of your desireable plants! Round Up breaks down relatively fast in the presence of sunshine and fresh air so there should be no residual chemicals 10-14 days after you have sprayed. Read the label, though, just to make sure, and plant after the listed waiting period. Best wishes with your flower garden!
