Question: I live in NW Washington what are some med. height full sun and shade perennials good for my area?

Answer: For full sun plant peonies, dahlias (border), lilies, daylilies, bearded iris and Shasta daisies. For shady areas plant bleeding heart, Helleborus, foxglove, hostas and Abutilon x hybridum 'Cascade Dawn,' which is tall and branching, with narrow, dark-green leaves bedecked in orange and yellow lantern-shaped flowers.
