What are the best trees I should plant in my backyard that would be a natural barrier between my backyard neighbor and myself? I am looking for something reasonably priced and that would grow very fast and provide the most privacy.

Leyland Cypress, Arborvitae, photinia or viburnum will all serve the purpose. Leyland cypress is very fast growing; arborvitae pyramidalis is a tall, columnar evergreen with a width of only 2-3 feet if growing space is at a premium; photinia and viburnums are broadleaf evergreen shrubs. Hope one of these is right for your landscape.
