is it the perennials that come back every year and if so does that go for all of the plants that say perennials |
Annuals live for one growing season. They grow, flower, set seeds and die. Perennials live for 3 or more years. While the tops may die down in winter weather, the roots remain alive and new stems, foliage and flowers will emerge from the roots each spring. When a plant is tagged as a perennial, you can expect it to return year after year. Hope this clarifies things for you. Have a great gardening season! |
