Are there and annuals that do well in areas where there is excess water

I'm afraid there aren't any annuals that will grow in soggy soils. You can try amending the bed with organic matter, or planting in containers or raised beds, or even installing a curtain drain so the soil drains better. Wish I had more ideas!
