The Q&A Archives: Which summer flowering bulbs are hardy in the New Jersey area.

Question: I am trying to find out which bulbs must be taken up each winter. Which ones can be left in the soil to winter over?

Answer: I'm afraid that there are no summer flowering bulbs that are considered hardy in New Jersey. You will either need to dig them up each fall and replant in the spring or consider them annuals and replace them every year. Wish I had better news for you!
