The Q&A Archives: Non-Blooming Daffodils

Question: Why don't some daffodils blossom? Nancy Caron

Answer: When the foliage is removed before it dies down naturally or if the bulbs are over crowded, they will fail to bloom. So, don't cut the leaves off until they die back on their own, and dig and divide your daffodils if they've been in the ground 3-4 years. Best wishes with your daffodils.
