bought plants about 3 weeks ago and the leaves are turning yellow and the dirt has tiny white worms. Help

The worms are secondary - potting soil has all kinds of soil dwelling creatures. You can dust the soil with Bt (sold as Dipel) to do them in. The yellowing leaves can indicate over or underwatering or some other stress. New plants often go through a transition period when moved to new homes. I'd just give the plant a chance to adjust and you should see new growth. Hope so!
