Have just bought my first bamboo plant. It's in a container filled with small rocks and I cannot see the water. Suppose to change water before it gets stagnate but not sure how to judge it. Should I just wait so many days and then change water? Thanks Craig

I would empty the water into a measuring cup to see how much is in it now and then plan on changing the water every 2-3 weeks. Until you know just how much water your plant is using, dump the old water into a measuring cup before replacing it with new water. Eventually you'll be able to judge whether to add a little water or completely change it every few weeks. Hope this makes sense!
