What would stay green and alive all year, requiring little space in hanging baskets on porch (under underhang) in Denver area? We had asparagus ferns (loved the look) but they died in winter. Thanks for any input!!

I wish I had several suggestions for you but hanging baskets don't provide much insulation for plant roots during the winter months. Roots are really susceptible to freeze damage - even the hardiest plants for your area will die when the roots are exposed to freezing temperatures. Sorry!
