We have created an island in our yard that is 11" long and 5" wide on one end narrowing to 3 '. A white crepe myrtle is at the widest end which we allow to grow to an approximate hieght of 8 feet. In a triangle at the short end are 3 lillies short. I would like something to plant in a triangle in the middle that is drapey...not compact. What shrub/plant would you recommend?

If the area is somewhat shaded, how about planting a Japanese Maple. There are several small ones with umbrella shaped growth. Or a dwarf weeping cherry might be nice.
