| We recently planted grass seed and covered it with hay. Does the hay need to be raked up at a certain time or what do we do with it? Does it just break down once the grass seed starts to grow? |
| I hope you used straw and not hay - hay contains lots of weed seeds! The straw will break down on its own and some of it will sucked up with the lawnmower when you begin to mow your new lawn. Best wishes with your lawn! |
