I've reclaimed a large area of property w/ huge vines, invasive weeds and want to seed - mostly shade.should I use Round-up or Weed-be-Gone for the remaining weeds? How long before I can seed?I don't want the weeds to regrow before the grass takes over. Thanks.

Either product will kill existing weeds but not their weed seeds. Check the label on the product you purchase regarding seeding the area. I think it is 14-21 days but check to make sure. After your grass is up and growing and you have mowed it twice it will be mature enough for you to apply a corn gluten meal pre emergent herbicide which will keep weed seeds in the soil from sprouting until your lawn is thick enough to crowd them out. Good luck with your landscape!
