I started with seeds. I need to know how far apart to plant seedlings and is this plant an annual or a perennial? |
Referred to as pot marigolds, calendula provides a spectacular display of light yellow to deep orange flowers. Blooms from early summer until frost and has been used for centuries in skin creams to soothe irritations and other inflammatory conditions. Plants are usually low and compact. They are annuals but they usually self sow. Calendulas grow 18-24 inches tall and wide so space your plants at least 12 inches apart. Plant yours outdoors in a sunny spot or a spot with morning sun and filtered afternoon shade. Enjoy! |
