can i put coffee grounds in my ficus benjamina? will this do some good? how should i put it?

your reply relates to "gardenia". Is that the same as
ficus?

You can spread a half inch to an inch of coffee grounds around your gardenia. Coffee grounds are a source of nitrogen and they make a good mulch material. Best wishes with your plants!
