I JUST READ A PREVIOUS QUESTION ABOUT CRABGRASS. WHAT DOES IT MEAN , TO PULL CRABGRASS BEFORE IT GOES TO SEED. hOW DOES IT SEED. CAN I PULL IT NOW. I HAVE ST AUG GRASS.. THANKS |
Crabgrass actually does produce seeds but it's difficult to tell when - weather dictates its growth. The best thing to do is to pull it out as soon as you recognize it as crabgrass. Pull it out, roots and all. You can apply a pre emergence product onto your lawn (usually in February) to keep the crabgrass seeds from sprouting into plants next spring. Best wishes with your lawn. |
