| Will a hardy Banana tree grow out doors here in Alb. NM? I planted some last year but they have not come up yet. Is it too early? The root ball is mushy could it be dead? |
| Hardy banana is a tropical plant, hardy to about 20F. I'm afraid your winter weather in Albuquerque is just too cold to grow this plant outdoors during the winter months. You can either consider it an annual or try to overwinter it indoors. Wish I had better news for you! |
