The Q&A Archives: rhododendron disease

Question: my seven year old shrub has some of its leaves turning a mottled brown and gray. what is it and what's the cure

Answer: Mottled leaves are usually a sign of winter damage. Prune off the individual leaves or wait until your rhodie has finished blooming and then prune it back to remove the damaged leaves and stems. Best wishes with your rhodie!
