Propagating Rainbow Leucothoe - Knowledgebase Question

I have a leucothoe rainbow that i purchased from home depot two years ago, when is the best time to take cuttings and how is the best way to start them?

You can take either hardwood or softwood cuttings of your leucothoe. Summer is best; dip the cut ends in rooting hormone and pot them up in moistened potting soil. They take 10-12 weeks to root. Set the pots outdoors in a shady area and mist daily so they don't dry out. Good luck with your project!
