I have a leucothoe rainbow that i purchased from home depot two years ago, when is the best time to take cuttings and how is the best way to start them? Thanks, Eric |
You can take either hardwood or softwood cuttings of your leucothoe. Summer is best; dip the cut ends in rooting hormone and pot them up in moistened potting soil. They take 10-12 weeks to root. Set the pots outdoors in a shady area and mist daily so they don't dry out. Good luck with your project! |
