HI!
I'M THINKING ABOUT TRANSPLANTING A ROSE OF SHARON BUSH.
IT IS ONLY ABOUT 4 FEET TALL AND ABOUT 2 FEET WIDE.
WHEN SHOULD I DO THIS? DO THEY NEED SPECIAL SOIL OR FERTILIZER IN THE HOLE? HOW DO I MAINTAIN IT LATER.
I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR HELP.
THANKS, DORIAN

Rose of sharon grows well in average soil in full sunshine. The plants will take all summer to become established but will grow and bloom nicely next year. Feed next spring with a 10-10-10 or 20-20-20 fertilizer and be sure to water your new plants deeply once each week during the growing season. Enjoy your garden!
