HI.. SOME CRITTERS ARE EATING MY TULIPS. DO SQUIRRELS EAT TULIPS OR DO YOU THINK IT WAS DEER? WHAT IS THE BEST DETERENT FOR THIS? THANKS, DORIAN |
Squirrels, bunnies and deer will all eat tulip foliage so the best way to protect your plants is to place a barrier over them. I use a hoop of chicken wire but you could also build a frame and cover it with bird netting. Usually the critters feed at night or early in the morning so you could take the barrier off during the day and put it back on at dusk. Good luck with your tulips! |
