I have several flower and tree areas where I put mulch every spring; what kind of mulch is best for acid loving shrubs?

Compost, pine needles or peat moss will make acid loving shrubs happy. You can use any readily available mulch material and then feed your acid loving plants with an acidified fertilizer such as Miracid. Either way, your plants should be happy. Enjoy!
