Answer: Prune your grapes back now. The more you prune, the more new vines you will get which translates to lots of foliage and grapes, as well. The older the vines get, the more grapes they will produce so cut them back now and the old wood that remains will develop new flowering/fruiting shoots. I cut my vines back hard - leaving only about 3' of old wood. I have more grapes than I know what to do with!
