I ordered some lavender plants and planted them in the spring of '97. Of the 4 or 5 surviving and seemingly healthy plants, they are still green. I didn't expect much flowering (if any) last year but I thought they might flower this year. Is it too early for them to flower? The leaves smell luscious, but no blue flowers yet...I'm eager to see them.

Lavender (Lavandula) will bloom sometime from June through August if planted in full sun. Enjoy the bloom to come!
