I ahve many areas that have different types of ground cover in them and now I find myself trying to get the leaves out from Fall and not having much luck without just staying on the ground and picking them out by hand...any suggestions? |
Depends upon the height of the ground covers but if they are short you can raise your mower to the highest setting and mow over the ground cover, sucking up the leaves. Or, a leaf blower will work or even a hard spray from the hose to wash the leaves out of the groundcover. On the plus side, if you do nothing, the leaves will decompose over the winter months and provide nutrients to the groundcovers. Good luck with your landscape! |
