What to do for yellowish, wimpy, leaves in newly planted geraniums. I have watered well, then allow them to dry about two

Newly planted geranums can go into transplant shock until the roots re-establish and the plant adjusts. Keep watering as you have and if you can, provide a little shade from the hot afternoon sunshine. Your plants will perk up in a week or so. Best wishes with your geraniums
