if i have a potting container of creeping phlox and they droop over toward the ground, are they unhealthy or will they recover once I plant them in the ground and water them? The reason I ask is because out of ten, two of them did this. |
Creeping phlox is supposed to creep or crawl along the ground so what you describe is their natural growth pattern. There are other, more upright, kinds of phlox so I wonder if you have both varieties? Once you plant them in the ground, expect them to creep or spread out. Even the upright varieties will spread out a bit, too. Best wishes with your garden! |
