Hello, I live in Sacramento, California. What colorful perrenials can I plant, in pots, that will bloom in the spring and summer and keep a green foliage during the fall and winter? Thank you.

You have lots of choices! Here are a few to consider: Centranthus Valeriana, Twinspur, Poppy, Phlox, Salvia, Scabiosa, Germander, Blue marguerite, Chrysanthemum, Shasta daisy, Purple coneflower, Gaillardia Blanket flower, Baby's breath, Daylily, Lavender, Catmint, Cape fuchsia, Obedience plant, Gloriosa daisy, Goldenrod, Verbena, and Veronica.
