I wish to plant a small raised organic vegetable garden. At the same time I wish to maintain a
beautiful/healthy lawn. Do you have suggestions on how I can maintain both?

You can use compost and manure as organic ferilizers, and hand pull weeds so you won't have to use chemicals. As long as you keep chemicals out of the garden, you can have safe, organic veggies. Likewise with your lawn. Hand pull or dig weeds out, spread a thin layer of compost over the lawn each spring and keep your lawn well watered and frequently mowed. A thick, healthy lawn will crowd out most weeds. Enjoy!
