Pachouli (Pogostemon pachouli) grow best in moist, shady areas. The plant will grow 2' - 3' feet tall. It's an annual in your region. Pachouli has soft, oval leaves, and will develop white flowers tinged with purple. The leaves are very fragrant when crushed.
