The Q&A Archives: Pruning Bush Tomatoes

Question: Do I prune suckers off new bush type tomatoes?

Answer: You can if you wish to keep the plant open so air can circulate and light can reach the fruit to speed ripening. It also helps to keep their size in control - even bush types grow vigorously and can get out of bounds.
