It's a nice thought, but turfgrass has deep roots and any sod you put on the concrete will quickly die. How about building a raised bed, 8-12 inches high - or higher, filling it with topsoil and laying your sod in the bed? An 8-12 inch soil base will keep the roots of the sod happy. And, you can add a few planters full of annuals or perennials for color. Hope this works for you!
