Is it too late to plant azaleas in Atlanta? Should I wait until the fall? Thanks

You can plant them now if you water them deeply once each week until their roots become established, and if you can provide a little shelter from the hot afternoon sunshine. Maybe you can prop up a large piece of cardboard or plywood to provide protection from the hot summer sun. Otherwise, I'd plant them in the fall when the weather is cooler.
