At the edge of my lawn, I have almost 30 yard long and 3 feet high sloped area (almost 60% slope, right next to my flowering bed. I need recommendations for a ground cover that can be planted on this sloped area. I live in sammamish, WA so I'm looking for something that works in my region. Also, I prefer a low maintenance, inexpensive plant that grows faster and stays green in winter.

Some of the best plants to help stablize a slope are those ground covers and shrubs that have fibrous root systems that will bind the soil. Below is a list of suggested plants for slope:

Arctostaphylos uva ursi (Kinnickkinnick), Ceanothus spp. (Wild lilac), Cistus spp. ( Rock rose), Cotoneaster spp. (Cotoneaster), Fallugia paradoxa (Apache plume),
Fragaria chiloensis (ornamental Strawberry - including 'Pink Panda', Jasminum mesnyi (Primrose jasmine), Juniperus spp. - Junipers (ground cover varieties), Mahonia repens (Creeping mahonia), Rhus aromatica, R. trilobata (Fragrant sumac), Rosa multiflora, R. rugosa, R. nutkana (carptet roses), Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary), Spiraea douglasii (Douglas spirea), Symphoricarpos (Snowberry),
