| I currently have areas that need seeding, areas with dandelions and areas with crab grass. What can I put down now to cover all 3 of these without affecting the others? |
| I would rake and reseed the bare areas first then wait until you've moved the new grass 3 times before addressing the weed issue. Apply Ortho? Weed-B-Gon MAX? Plus Crabgrass Control Concentrate. Mature crabgrass may require a second treatment 2 weeks later. After you've controlled the crabgrass and broadleaf weeds, you can fertilize (in June) with a turf builder product. Remember to read and follow label directions and choose the product that is right for your grass type. |
