If your zucchini is flowering, you should get squash - as long as there's insect activity because they need to transfer the pollen. Squash plants develop separate male and female flowers; the male flowers are first to show up, followed by female flowers. Male flowers are connected to the vine by a straight stem; female flowers have a slight swelling behind the flower petals. You can examine the flowers as they open and as soon as you have a few female flowers open, cut a male flower from the vine and brush the insides of the male flower to the insides of the female flowers. This cross pollination should result in fruits. Best wishes with your zucchini!
