| If you planted at the proper depth and fed your bulbs, or applied compost or manure to the top of the soil, and you water them regularly, they should bloom. The foliage should be left to die down naturally, because it supplies the bulbs with energy to produce next year's bloom. Leave the foliage on your plants and fertilize them by spreading compost over the soil where they're planted. Water the area this summer and watch for blooms next spring. |
