What Trees and bushes can I plant close to the creek, whit rain flowed for little while. Sun from 10am-4pm. I like blossoming and nicely green too. Thank you. H.

The following trees and shrubs will grow in damp soil: American elderberry (Sambucus canadensis) American arborvitae (Thuja ccidentalis) Bottlebrush buckeye (Aesculus parviflora) Buttonbush (Cephalanthus occidentalis) Dusty zenobia (Zenobia pulverulenta) Florida Leucothoe ( Agarista populiflolia) Inkberry (Ilex glabra) Leucothoe (Leucothoe axillaris) Possumhaw Viburnum (Viburnum nudum) Red chokeberry (Aronia arbutifolia) Reddtwig dogwood (Cornus stolonifera) Spicebush Lindera benzoin) Sweet pepperbush (Clethra alnifolia) Sweetshrub, common (Calycanthus floridus) Turk?s-cap (Malvaviscus arboreus) Virginia sweetspire (Itea virginica) Wax myrtle (Morella cerifera) Winterberry (Ilex verticillata).
