The Q&A Archives: orange tree

Question: my oranges are not very sweet, what can i do about this?would grafting from a tree that has sweet orange will this work if so how is it done?

Answer: The sweetness of your fruit is mostly due to the genetics of the tree. There's really no way to make it sweeter than it's genetically programmed to be. Wish there were something else to suggest - you can make marmalade with sour oranges!
